Abstract
To satisfy the requirement of ecological sustainability in urban landscapes, the deep ecology idea and the landscape ecology theory were introduced into the philosophy of design, resulting in a research on design method strategy that is focused on three correlations, namely, “Ecology-Space,” “Ecology-Technology,” and “Ecology-Function.” Furthermore, the framework of ecological sustainability-oriented urban landscape planning was established, which mainly included following several aspects: programming, landscape pattern planning, function pattern planning, technology system planning and landscape morphology planning. This framework is the helpful supplement for the traditional urban landscape planning method.
