Abstract
The analysis of the transitory regimes of the motor is very important for the tuning of electric parameters and of the maximal values of the oscillating electromagnetic torque. Current shocks cause torque shock. They send the appliance running and binding traction device. The analysis in this article is part of a larger study that follows electric locomotive modernization - LE-040-3500 kW. By equipping the locomotives with asynchronous motors, locomotive will get an installed power of 6300 kW. The analysis enables the optimal choice of measurements regulating with direct effect on performance of traction.
