Abstract :
The profile measurement is very important in both the construction and the maintenance of roadway and runway surfaces. An SINS/GPS/Odometer integrated navigation system for road profile measurement is designed and realized in this paper. In this system, a low cost SINS is use to measure the position, velocity and attitude of the vehicle, the accumulate error of which is corrected by GPS and Odometer through Kalman filter. The experiments results indicate that the IMU/GPS/Odometer integrated navigation system can measure the vertical motion of the vehicle precisely, which can satisfy the road profiler measurement.
