The holding of large sport events and the protection of ecological environment are basic activities of human society and developing, sustainable develop considers making harmonious developing among population, resource and environment as its core. During the process of human looking for the way to make itself and the ecological environment harmonious coexistence, there are, however, lots of problems on ecological environment in the process of holding large sport events. It is necessary that the principle of ecological should be obeyed by sustainable development to guarantee the holding of large sport events. Analysis problems about ecological environment which are producing by holding large sport events, then discuss about external environment, practice foundation and theoretical basis that make holding large sport events available, and put forward ways about how can get sustainable development of holding large sport events available.
