Abstract :
In this paper, 6-D force sensor and its static calibration concept are introduced; the research on the static calibration test of 6-D force sensor has been made based on the characteristics of the virtual instrument technology; and the test process and steps are presented. Moreover, a certain 6-D force sensor with 8 perpendicular beams has been used to conduct the static calibration test, so that a lot of testing data, as well as various static performance indexes of the sensor have been obtained through relevant data processing.
