Abstract :
A fuzzy logic application in the stabilization of an electric AC power system is presented. Two fuzzy stabilizers are used in the control system of a phase-shift transformer which provides both magnitude and phase angle change through thyristor switching. Some simulation results are presented in comparative terms between led-lag traditional stabilizers and the fuzzy stabilizers
