Abstract
In this paper two vector controls, applied on small wind turbine with permanent magnets synchronous generator, with sensor and sensorless, are experimentally validated and compared. The results show that the performance of sensorless vector control, based on Extended Kalman Filter method, is adequate and economically valuable for small wind turbine.
