Abstract
This article addresses the applications of renewable energy such as solar energy, wind energy and biological energy etc. in the power supply of robots. It analyzes the extensive field of renewable energy technology, and discovers that comparing with traditional energy, renewable energy technology solves the problem of the enormous energy consumption brought by the increasing quantity of robots, of uninterruptible energy supply for robots, of robots´ dwindling in size and weight, and of the improving of robot´s dexterity. Shown by the world-wide achievements acquired by the applications of renewable energy technology for robots, the development of renewable energy technology is opening up broad possibilities for robot technologies.
