Abstract
The progress of Internet technologies leads to an increasing integration of services, systems, and processes. In this paper this integration is deconstructed into several different dimensions for achieving a closer insight into how it advances. The dimensions are then applied to portal technologies as example application to show the dimensions´ possible and already achieved impacts on technology.
