Abstract :
We demonstrate a monolithic InP modulator that produces 28-Gbaud (112 Gb/s) square or hexagonal 16-QAM using four integrated amplitude/phase modulators. We achieve bit-error rates of 2.7×10-3 and 3.8×10-3, respectively.
