Abstract
An automated operator service using the high-performance, massively parallel CNAPS computer is described. Automatic routing of calls based on spoken names is accomplished using a novel, hybrid dynamic-time-warping-learning-vector-quantization (DTW-LVQ) technique. Initial experimental performance for automated call routing yielded 99% accuracy
