Abstract :
To design a superconducting cavity with high quality factor for frequency standard, the parameters which affect ability of the cavity are all achieved through theory analysis and computer program. A curve through which we can assure the temperature for our aim is got through calculating the value of quality factor in different temperature. The parameters of cavity are described as follows: the mode is TM010; the diameter is 60 mm, the height is 50 mm; the cavity frequency is 4.4GHz; the quality factor is 3.9×107 and 1.9×109 when the temperature is 4.2K and 2K, respectively, which are close to the calculation.
