Abstract
On-chip analog signal performance of high-contrast-grating hollow-core-waveguide is evaluated. SFDR of >;100 dB can be achieved for IM3 over a wide RF frequency range of 80 GHz and optical wavelength band of 50 nm after a 100-m propagation. An optimal waveguide design can produce analog performance comparable to optical fibers, which is dramatically better when compared with integrated low-loss silicon waveguides.
