Abstract :
To get the forestry input-output efficiency situation in China, the forestry input-output data of 30 provinces, cities and autonomous regions were selected from 2000 to 2009 and analyzed by data envelopment analysis. Results show that unbalanced development of forestry input-output among the provinces, and forestry input-output of most provinces did not reach optimal DEA, but it was in the stage of increasing return to scale. Technological progress promoted the growth of total factor productivity to a large extent. From overall perspective, China forestry needs to reform and innovate to enhance the development of forestry economic production in terms of scale efficiency and purely technical efficiency.
