Abstract :
In this paper, a comparative study of random and standard space vector PWM switching schemes for 3-level inverters is reported. An analysis on the random and standard schemes has been carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of both schemes are identified. Verified with measurements, these performance features are described. The results provide valuable information for practicing engineers to evaluate the potential of these schemes
