Abstract
An approach to tightly integrating a multi-hypothesis tracker correlator (MHTC) and an augmented transition network (ATN) expert system shell is discussed. The MHTC utilizes quantitative evaluation of kinematic features to perform information fusion. The ATN utilizes semantic interpretation of attribute features to perform information fusion. A modification to the ATN pattern matching algorithm is proposed allowing a tight coupling of the ATN and MHTC
