SWOT analysis for the sustainable development of new energy industry in Hebei province

Great attention has been given to the energy. As the large energy consumption province, energy security issues become increasingly prominen, accelerating new energy development is necessarily in Hebei province. The author uses SWOT analysis method to analyze the influence factors of new energy development in Hebei, and gives some suggestions. Hebei is blessed with an abundance of new energy resources and has the potential for the solar and wind energy industry to grow significantly. However, new energy development in Hebei faces many challenges such as capital, structure, and technology, as well as low industry concentration, small profit margins, and consumer unwillingness to use new energy. Nevertheless development and utilization of new energy is the general trend. Hebei province should take advantage of this opportunity to use policy support and incentives to build a diversified energy structure of the new system and to promote industrial clustering process.
