Abstract :
This issue discusses the effect of mass ratio of phenol and wood, quantity of NaOH, molar ratio of formaldehyde and phenol on the properties of PF resins. Optimum condition for PF resin was determined through orthogonal experiments. By optimizing the synthesis process, PF resins were got. In order to evaluate the mechanical performances of PF resins, plywood panels were produced and bonding strengths were investigated. The results showed that bonding strengths of these panels can reach GB/T9846—2004 I.
