Abstract :
This paper presents the analysis of operation for asymmetrical half-bridge converter which can achieve ZVS at whole load range by utilizing magnetizing inductance even with very small leakage inductance. The proposed method can minimize "duty cycle loss" and the "voltage spike" of output diodes. One prototype with 94.4% efficiency at rated load is built and experiment results have verified the theoretical analysis
