Abstract :
A novel topology, so called active-clamp coupled-buck, is a good candidate for the 12V input voltage regulation module. Both DC and AC analysis of this circuit are considered. Poles and zeros are analyzed. A moving left-half-plane zero is identified. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental measurements. Transient response test verifies this converter achieves wide bandwidth and fast transient response while having a high efficiency
