Abstract :
This paper outlines how ESB National Grid (ESBNG), the transmission system operator (TSO) for the Republic of Ireland, developed the grid code for wind farm power stations (WFPS). It discusses the topics considered, how the code requirements apply to the distribution network and finally outlines some future work.
