Abstract
When inductive load is interrupted by VCB, extinction and re-ignition may be observed repeatedly by balance with recovery voltage. This is due to high frequency current interruption. Also many investigators have tried to make clear these phenomena with severe situations, and presented many papers. We conducted an experiment to investigate them, we adopted different values of amplitude of high frequency current and direct current high frequency current injection just before. And arc time and timing of applying impulse voltage are adjusted. In this paper, we investigated the relationship between high frequency current or direct current and breakdown voltage with AgWC electrodes.
