Abstract :
Variable injection timing and EGR rate have been employed in a four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine in order to meet the emission standard of Euro IV. The influence of injection timing and EGR rate on engine emissions has been explored. The conclusions drawn from this study are important for the development of next-generation clear diesel engines.
