Abstract :
Considering both low signal noise ratio (SNR) and uneven sample interval among slices of ultrasonic image, a new algorithm is proposed in this paper. It realized the reconstruction of three-dimensional (3D) vein surface for ultrasonic cervix images. It makes use of methods of image and graphics processing and integrates properties of ultrasonic image. Firstly, an available loss technique is used to smoothen the edge of the target area. Then images are inserted between slices based on the images of context to remove effect of the terrace. Lastly anti-aliasing is used to improve the visual effect of 3D surface reconstructed by matching cube (MC). This algorithm has been proved to be simple and effective by doing experiment.
