Abstract :
With the global environmental changing and energy scarcity, human pay attention to the living conditions. Automobiles, consuming energy and emitting harmful substance, become the focus of attention. In order to control the emission of the harmful substance in a certain range, different new regulations were formulated to limit the emission pollutants of automobiles. It was a new facing challenge that how to meet the requirement of the emission regulations. So people must use technical innovation and optimization to improve automobile energy efficiency and reduce emissions from vehicles. Some new technologies were analyzed in the paper, including Diesotto,cylinder-deactivation, twin port-injection, twin turbo-charging, hybrid technique and direct-injection technology. The efficiency and the innovative points of the new technologies were mainly discussed in the paper.
