Abstract
This paper introduces a computer-mediated e-business system, named ARF-Shop (augmented reality supported furniture shop), which combines augmented reality (AR) and web-services technologies. Service-oriented architecture (SOA) has been applied into this system. The paper presents how the SOA is used as a tool to design and analyze the conceptual system framework and further guide the design of the system software framework. Function of each tier in the framework and techniques which may be adopted has been discussed as well.
