Abstract
We propose a framework that enables data analysts to share data analysis scenarios. It consists of nine typical data analysis scenarios extracted from about 100 real cases. The scenarios are classified based on the goal of the data analysis, including the type of action management that should be taken. In contrast to conventional domain specific data analysis solutions or templates, the framework is applicable to different business domains if the business goals are the same. The scenarios cover 87% of the cases we have studied. Executable templates that are used to implement the scenarios are also presented. An experiment shows that the time it takes for data analysis design and implementation using these templates is reduced to 13% of the time without using them.
