Abstract
A QRS complex detector for electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis based on the dyadic wavelet transform (DyWT) is described. It overcomes the problems associated with several QRS detectors; namely, they are insensitive to non-stationarities in the QRS complex and are not robust to noise. The performance of the detector is illustrated with representative examples, and its performance is compared to that of some of the other QRS detectors developed thus far
