Abstract
UPS provide protection for critical loads, and -is the preferred solution for data centre applications. Such installations are often operating at higher room temperatures to improve their cooling system efficiency. This paper discusses the impact of temperature on the efficiency of double-conversion UPS, by presenting experimental measurements from a set of high power UPS featuring various topologies and different technologies.
