Abstract :
Restoration of an archeological artifact by an innovative instrument is dealt with. The operational principle consists in reduction current focusing on small regions of the artifact. Phenomena such as “current pinching” and interference between the potential of surfaces of items found, are considered and the analysis algorithm of voltage data for surface diagnosis is presented. Both analytical and reduction capabilities of the instrument are discussed
