Abstract :
Territory is about control of space and its defense against encroachment from outside. Existing forms can be used for territorial reasons, the way a river or mountain range forms a boundary between countries. But physical forms can also be made to serve territorial demarcation. The photographs In this work illustrate human beings´ approaches to territory in the built environment. Key issues related to territory and security in modern society is considered.
