Abstract
In this paper, FFT theory is used for realizing the phase measurement of signals. A new approach of acoustic velocity measurement in seawater based on phase difference is proposed. To deal with the phase ambiguity, our current study found an improved approach, which is based on two-frequency signal. The experiment compares the measurement results of phase difference with time difference. The results verify the effectiveness of the phase difference acoustic velocity measurement.
