  • Abstract
The paper discusses an accurate method for the prediction of where in the complex plane the poles and zeros of a transfer function of a linear circuit will be, taking into account errors in the component values of the circuit. Sensitivity analysis is used, with a generalization of a known process for the determination of pole sensitivity presented. The regions on the complex plane where the poles or zeros are expected to be can be computed as rectangles or, more accurately, as ellipses. Examples with comparisons with Monte Carlo analysis results are presented
