Abstract :
The commercial software CFD was used to solve problem by solving the Navier-Stokes equatlon with the k -ε model and VOF method. the author computed and simulated running resistance and flow field of a real amphibious vehicle, it proves that the simulation results of running resistance of a amphibious vehicle is accorded with the experimenial results and the frictional resistance coefficients of the real amphibious vehicle are in consistant with the 1957 ITTC formula results, indicting the verification of numerical calculation method used in the paper.
