Abstract
The Volterra series behavioral approach has been largely applied in recent years for modeling of nonlinear dynamic systems. Only recently it was used to mathematically model time-invariable systems such as analog to digital devices (ADCs). In this paper, Volterra series modeling methods for ADC nonlinearity are briefly introduced according to a classification criterion based on the main research trends. Some possible directions in this area are also given.
