Abstract :
The use of electrical equipment in hazardous locations will always cause problems. The problems which arise are due to ignitable dusts and gases in the same place as sparks. In the Federal Enterprises of Canada, the industries with these problems are generally coal mining, grain storage and gas and oil. The author discusses safety in these locations
