Abstract :
A new neural induction motor control strategy developed using VHDL and implemented in XILINX FPGA is presented. The parameters of the three-phase equivalent circuit of the motor are derived from the space vector model of the motor. The speed control strategy is discussed. The new neural controller is verified by computer simulations and practical tests
