  • Abstract
    A new method based on function analysis is presented in this paper, which can generate an F-M model realization for a given SISO n-D system with lower order than the existing method given by Alpay and Dubi´s. By taking into account of the structural properties of the given transfer function or transfer matrix, it is possible to construct a realization with much lower order. Nontrivial example is given to illustrate the basic idea as well as the effectiveness of the proposed method.
