Abstract :
Due to some inner and outer reasons of image system, images obtained by some sensors will be degraded unavoidably. The main purpose of this paper is to present an efficient image interpolation scheme to improve the resolution and quality of images. The scheme is realized by combining Bezier surface interpolation with an artificial neural network (ANN). Theoretically, the hybrid rapid algorithm has more advantages than other interpolation algorithm. Moreover, the algorithm has been demonstrated to improve efficiently the image resolution with example applications and their results.
