Abstract :
A single-phase single-stage power supply with power factor correction and automatic voltage clamping is proposed in this paper. This topology combines a boost input current shaper with a new double winding clamped DC/DC power converter. With this configuration, when the main switch is turned off, the voltage of the switch is automatically clamped to the sum of the two bulk capacitor voltages. The energy in the leakage inductance of the primary transformer is recycled. In addition, the voltage stress of the main switch is reduced compared with that of a flyback converter with one primary winding. Experimental results verify the analysis
