Abstract
Many previous studies have reported the interesting facts that nanosecond pulsed electrical fields (nsPEF) could reduce tumors on mice, and there have been a few hypotheses on apoptosis pathways that induced by nsPEF. However the apoptosis mechanism has not fully been elucidated so far. In this study, we investigated the relationship between intracellular calcium burst and apoptosis of breast cancer cell MCF-7 and Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cell Cal-27 after nsPEF treatment.
