Abstract
A new type of testing platform with programmable logic controller (PLC) as control unit and gas sensor as trace leakage of gas detection have been developed to improve the accuracy, precision and testing speed of leakage detection for trace leakage detection of gas. The experimental data showed that, with the equipment, the accuracy of determination can no longer be affected by the change of temperature and volume of testing pipe and the precision of testing can be improved 3 orders of magnitude. The testing time can be decreased from 1 minute per part to 20 seconds per part, which can improve production efficiency 3 times compared with traditional testing methods.
