A new optimization scheme based logistics cost for plant facility layout

As an important component of production process, logistic performances make great effect on production system. And logistic cost also takes significant position in production cost which is affected directly by plant facility layout of the enterprise. A method using SLP is given to systematically analyze the problem of actual facility layout of a manufacturing company. Then an optimized scheme is put forward to reducing logistics cost. Finally, comparison experiments are performed and the results show the advantages of the new scheme.
