  • Abstract
    To monitor and control the temperature within the granary where the grain is stored is one of the fundamental measures in preventing the grain from mildewing and rotting. To facilitate real time monitoring of the temperature within the granary, a temperature monitoring system is designed in this paper based on AT89C51 single-chip. The AD590 is used as a temperature sensor to detect the temperature of the granary and display it in real time. The system control over temperature is appropriate and effective, and features many advantages like easy debugging, high precision and reliability. It can avoid the disadvantages of traditional manual measurement about the granary temperature in the program.
