Abstract :
Many industrial applications request multiquadrant operation with soft-switching technique. The zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) method is another technique to reduce the power losses across main switches. Unfortunately, most of the papers in the literature discuss the ZVS converters only working at single quadrant operation. This paper introduces a new ZVS four-quadrant DC/DC quasi-resonant Luo-converter. It is a new soft switching technique, which effectively reduces the power losses and largely increases the power transfer efficiency. Testing results verified the characteristics of this converter, and confirmed our design and analysis
