Abstract

For monitoring lightning strikes online and in real-time, develop the “black box”(online lightning real-time monitoring instrument), which includes lightning sensor and data processor. And introduce their software structure. Then give the experimental comparison and application prospects. Finally, get the conclusion: the “black box” can help the researches on lightning disaster, line management, line lightning protection, and lightning risk assessment.
