Abstract :
The study of large-scale complex structure damage diagnosis had become more and more important. Discussed a kind of effective method for damaged diagnosis base on the improving Cross Modal Strain Energy (CMSE) technique and the Modal Strain Energy Rate (MSER). Through improvement of the existing modal strain energy indexes, discussed using only low-order modes for the bridge structure damage diagnostic methods base on excitation with environment. In cable stayed bridge damage diagnosis, used MSER to find the location of damage. We used CMSE to evaluate the degree of damage. Put the diagnostic component in the actual bridge structure. Approaches in the project reality, the result shows that the propose method can find the location of damage and evaluate the degree of damage well on cable stayed bridge.
