Abstract :
The paper addresses the concept of Technology Enhanced Learning, which is in focus of the IT4KT project of the Technical University of Kosice. Namely, we present an approach towards the collaborative design and implementation of semantic structures that are capable to support an automation in selected educational processes, especially in mathematical and computer science disciplines. The resulting structure of created ontologies is described together with generic process models that enable a semantic composition and orchestration of electronic services in the analyzed courses. Added semantics allows a flexible integration of educational services and processes, which consequently may help educators to minimize their efforts when preparing and running new instances of courses or lectures, as well as to effectively analyze the students´ performance and the teaching process as whole.
