Abstract :
As long as multi-element partition with windows and doors widely exists in variety kind of buildings, the overall insulation is determined mainly by the sound transmission through the weaker insulation members such as windows and doors. The selection to members of the multi-element partition is thought to be a key. Under the condition that the overall sound insulation of composite wall and area of each member are known, an approach based on Artificial Immune Algorithm is proposed to determine the weighted sound insulations of each member (wall, window and door) in multi-element partition through the inverse prediction which was developed in this paper.
