Abstract :
Fully integrated distribution management systems (DMSs) not only need a transparent data architecture which guarantees data consistency, they also have to ensure data correctness for their base system functions and principally for their applications. This paper will present a concept for ensuring data consistency by introducing a so called transparency matrix. In addition, a transparency configuration manager is elaborated which guarantees data correctness at any time. Together, the transparency matrix and the transparency configuration manager achieve the requirements for a fully transparent DMS.
